My neck is starting to show signs of aging, but I have not had any success with creams.

Lift Effect Serum by Cellex-C is a brand new liquid-gel formulation which has been designed to smooth and firm the skin on the neck and décolleté. It is different from traditional preparations because it penetrates quickly and delivers specific ingredients known to help firm the skin’s dermal/epidermal junction. This helps to restore a firm texture and tone to slack skin on the neck and jaw line.

The formula is crystal clear and fragrance-free and will not rub off onto clothing.

Improvement of the neck can be expected in 6-8 weeks of twice daily use.

Cause and Treatment of Age Spots

The dark spots that show up on the skin in increasing frequency in middle age are typically called age spots, but really should be called sun spots as they are due to over exposure to the sun.

These brown spots or solar lentigenes are caused from sun damage that occurred years before. Melanocytes are cells in the epidermis that produce melanin which absorbs sunlight to protect the skin from UV rays. Over time the skin is damaged due to exposure to UVA and UVB light from sunlight or tanning beds, and the result is brown spots on the skin.

These annoying spots are benign, but it is always wise to have a skin cancer screening when you visit your physician.

If you choose to have them medically removed, there are many medical esthetic clinics that can recommend the most appropriate method for you.

Cellex-C offers excellent topical preparations to fade existing spots as well as to help prevent new ones from forming. The following regime is ideal:

1.    Apply FADE AWAY GEL to spots

2.    Apply ADVANCED-C SERUM and SKIN HYDRATION COMPLEX to the face and neck

3.    Always wear Cellex-C SUN CARE 30 PLUS (even on cloudy days)

4.    Apply AGE.LESS 15 SKIN SIGNALING SERUM followed by SELINE-E cream at night

My skin is dry and the skin around my nose flakes even though I use a good moisturizer.

You may need to alter your cleansing routine. Skin can flake from a build-up of dead skin cells and cosmetic preparations, especially if you are using rich products. Often those of us with dry skin will rinse with water instead of using a cleanser, but the skin just seems to get drier.

To correct this, start with a cleanser such as Cellex-C’s Gentle Cleansing Milk to thoroughly but gently remove dead skin cells, skin care products  , and makeup. Finish with Fresh Complexion Mist for a sparkling clean complexion. You will find that your skin will feel less dry and your moisturizer will penetrate better offering optimal results.

An excellent choice of moisturizer for a dry, sensitive skin is Cellex-C’s G.L.A. Extra Moist. It contains gamma linolenic acid from Evening Primrose Oil along with Vitamin E to soothe even the driest skin.

Cellex C Cleanser: Skin Exfoliation Without Dehydration

I was told that exfoliating my skin has anti-aging benefits, but the scrub I use leaves my skin dehydrated and sensitive.

The key is to use cleansing products on a daily basis that offer gentle and effective exfoliation in a non-granular formulation. Cellex-C’s Gentle Foaming Cleanser followed by Fresh Complexion Mist is a brilliant combination. These products contain natural and gentle fruit acids that effectively dissolve the “glue” holding the cells on the skin’s surface allowing them to be swept away. The result is a moist, fresh, more youthful looking skin.

There is an additional benefit as your anti-aging products (such as Cellex-C’s Advanced-C Serum or Advanced-C Skin Tightening Cream) can penetrate deeply into the epidermis to reduce visible signs of aging.

For further exfoliation, try Speed Peel Facial Gel. This minty formulation contains natural exfoliating agents and enzymes in an oil-free, hydrating gel. It instantly and gently peels dull, dry, superficial skin cells and polishes the skin to produce a smooth, radiant texture.

How do you best tackle the most challenging skin care issues such as wrinkles, sagging skin, and age spots?

The most direct approach is with serums as they give maximum benefit from active ingredients without inactive additives. Cellex-C anti-aging serums contain high concentrations of antioxidants in an oil-free base.

They penetrate deep into the epidermis, addressing problems at their origin. Cellex-C serums work together with your moisturizer enhancing overall results. There are three serums to choose from.

Advanced-C Serum offers the highest percentage of the Cellex-C patented ingredients and is a top choice for mature skin or those looking for the fastest overall results.

High Potency Serum is the original anti-aging topical Vitamin C serum, and offers excellent results fighting fine lines, sagging skin and age spots.

Serum for Sensitive Skin is specially formulated for skins that are more sensitive or those with rosacea.

The Cellex-C line of skin care products will soon have a new product in their line-up of anti-aging superstars.

What is the difference between Cellex-C Vitamin C products and others on the market?

Dr. Lorraine Meisner has worked for decades on research at the University of Wisconsin studying cells, cancer and radiation damage at the cellular level. Her challenge was to find a way to deliver Vitamin C topically to the skin cells. She needed to formulate a combination of ingredients that the cells would recognize and absorb.

Eventually, she discovered a unique Vitamin C complex that the cells absorbed and utilized to provide an optimal environment for the skin cells to operate like they would in a younger body.

This now-famous formula holds a worldwide patent which ultimately was marketed as the first Cellex-C Serum. It contains L-Ascorbic Acid (the only form of Vitamin C that the body can recognize) as well as tyrosine (an amino acid) and zinc (a mineral) in a low pH complex.

Once cosmetic companies saw how successful the Cellex-C Serum was, many included different forms of Vitamin C (derivatives, esters, and analogs) into their products, but none can duplicate Cellex-C’s patented formulation. There simply is no better way to deliver Vitamin to the cells than with the Cellex-C skin care line.
